SCOUTING LIPSCOMB
Lipscomb is 4-13 entering conference action this Saturday.

Last year's leading scorer and Lou Henson preseason watch list nominee Josh Williams tore his left acl against Princeton, so J.C. Hampton has stepped up as the leading scorer for the Bisons. Hampton is averaging 15.6 points per game.

The other leaders for Lipscomb is point guard Nathan Moran and forward Eli Pepper. Moran leads the team in assists and steals, while Pepper leads the team in blocks and rebounds.

Casey Alexander is in his third season at Lipscomb.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES VERSUS LIPSCOMB
Lipscomb holds the series lead at 5-15 over the Owls and have won the last 10 meetings dating back to 2010.

Racking up the Minutes
Brown not only leads the Owls in minutes, but he leads the nation averaging 39.1 minutes per game. He had played all 40 minutes in six straight games until the Reinhardt matchup and 10 of the 16 games this season. He played 42 minutes in the overtime game against Elon.

Taking Care of the Ball
Against Reinhardt, Kennesaw State had a 2-1 assist to turnover ratio as the team finished with 20 assists and 10 turnovers. The 20 assists are a season high and the 10 turnovers are a season low.

Taking care of the ball is something that KSU has been improving at as the season has gone on. Louisville is one of the best defensive teams year in and year out and the Owls did a good job of handling their pressure. Kennesaw State finished the game with 11 turnovers, which previously tied for the least amount of turnovers that KSU has had this season. The Owls had 11 turnovers in two other games against Elon and Mercer as well.

Going back, the Owls have had less than 15 turnovers in the last 11 of 12 games, and since they came out of there break for finals, the team hasn't had more than 13.

Dynamic Duo
Kennesaw State has two players that are averaging 17.0 points per game and are in the top six of the A-Sun standings for scoring. Yonel Brown is third in the A-Sun and leads KSU averaging 17.5 points per game. He has scored in double-figures in eight of nine games.

Kendrick Ray is fifth in the A-Sun averaging 17.0 points per game coming off of his 30-point performance against Mercer.

One of the two players has led the team in scoring in every game except for two so far this season.

30-Point Performances
There have been seven A-Sun players with 30-point games this season and Kennesaw State has two of them through the team's 16 games.

The latest came when Kendrick Ray set a new career high with 30 points against Mercer. The other two 30-point performances have come from Brown. He scored 34 in the season opener against Alabama and then dropped 31 at Elon.

Spreading the Ball Around at Home
Kennesaw State has shared the ball well in the KSU Convocation Center. In the seven games that the Owls have played at home, there have been at least three scorers in double-figures in four of them. Against Reinhardt on January 4th, the Owls spread the ball around really well as five Owls scored in double figures.

Reaching 100
The Owls scored over 100 points for the first time since joining the D-I ranks against Reinhardt. The last time the team reached the century mark was in the 2004-05 season in a 103-61 victory over UNC Pembroke on Feb. 19, 2005.

Tough Non-Conference Schedule
Heading into A-Sun play, Kennesaw State's non-conference schedule ranked 23rd in the country based on the NCAA rankings.

The Owls faced eight teams in the top 100 with four of those being in the top 50 RPI. No other team in the A-Sun played more than five teams in the top 100.

A-Sun Championship to Air on Westwood One Radio
The Atlantic Sun Conference announced today that the 2016 Men's Basketball Championship Final on Sunday, March 6, will air nationally on Westwood One radio.

This agreement marks the second consecutive year that an A-Sun Championship game is available across the country via terrestrial and satellite radio.
