KSU Team Notes
- The Owls' win over Alabama A&M registers the first season-opening win for the Owls since 2010 and the first home-opening win since 2011.

- KSU as a team set two program records against the Bulldogs, including the most points (32) registered in a single game and most goals score (12) in a single game.

- The Owls also had the fourth most shots (36) in a contest and their eight assists tied for the sixth-most helpers in a single game.

- Redshirt-junior Brittney Reed's 12 points and six goals set program records for most points and goals in a single match.

- Reed's six goals is just one off of the NCAA Division I record of seven goals scored in a single match - set by Sarah Comeauz of Ole Miss in 1996 and equaled by Kristen Arnott of Saint Francis (PA) in 2000.

- Reed's 12 points against the Bulldogs ranks in a tie for 13th for points in a single match in NCAA Division I history, four points off of the NCAA record of 16, set by Arnott in 2000 and equaled by Ashley Fortune of Francis Marion in 2007.

- Reed's five goals in the first half equals the NCAA Division I record for most goals in a half – tying Brittney Lyman of Colorado College, who scored five second-half goals against UTEP in 2009.

- Junior Cassidy Kemp earned her first career point on her first career assist on Reed's third goal in the 14th minute. She would go on to score her first career goal in the 18th minute of the match, before notching her second in the 56th minute.
