KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team ended it season on Friday (Apr. 17) after falling 4-3 to Stetson in the first round of the A-Sun Tournament at the UNF Tennis Complex in Jacksonville, Fla.
 
The Owls picked up where they left off in the regular season by dominating the doubles point.
 
KSU earned wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles positions.

Drew Wendel beat Chester Espie/Loic Blanco 8-4 at No. 1 doubles, while 
Manuel Castellanos/
Alejandro Valencia took care of Nathan Debut/Graham Ball 8-6 at the No. 2 spot.
 
Stetson fought back by claiming victories at No. 1-4 singles.
 
The Black and Gold took a couple of wins of its own at the No. 5 and No. 6 positions, but it was not enough to hold off the Hatters.
 
Jorge Wilton defeated Graham Ball 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 5 position while 
David Durham defeated Chester Espie 6-3, 6-2 at No. 6.
 
With the loss, KSU completes the season with a 7-12 overall record.
