KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team dropped a tough 4-3 match to Georgia Tech on Sunday (Mar. 29) in Atlanta, Ga.
 
The Owls continue to dominate in doubles play.
 
Kennesaw State claimed the doubles point at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions respectively. Simon Pritchard/Jorge Wilton won 8-6 at No. 2 doubles over Nathan Rakitt/Cole Fiegel and Manuel Castellanos/Alejandro Valencia setback Elijah Melendez/Daniel Yun in an 8-5 win at No. 3.
 
Sophomore Simon Pritchard put together an impressive performance at No. 1 singles, earning a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 win over No. 73 ranked Christopher Eubanks.
 
Freshman Alejandro Valencia was equally impressive as he dominated No. 107 ranked Nathan Rakitt 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles.
 
Georgia Tech completed the match by winning the rest of the singles points.
 
The Owls move to 5-10 on the season and will return to the courts on Thursday (Apr. 2) to take on Northern Kentucky in Highland Heights, Ky.
