WT: KSU Falls 6-1 to the Hatters to Close the Weekend

KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team fell 6-1 to Stetson on Saturday (Mar. 21) at Fair Oaks Tennis Center in Marietta, Ga.
 
Kennesaw State lost the doubles point and continued to struggle during singles play.
 
Senior Jana Hueckinghaus took her match to a tiebreaker round at No. 2 singles, but fell short in a 7-5, 2-6, 10-8 loss to Isabella Fernandez.
 
Alexandra Mercado posted the lone win for the Owls in a 1-6, 6-1, 6-3 win over Arijana Korac at No. 3 singles.
 
KSU moves to 1-9 on the season and will return to the court on Thursday (Mar. 26) to take on North Florida at 10 a.m. ET in Jacksonville, Fla.
