Match Preview
The Kennesaw State soccer team enters the 2015 Atlantic Sun Tournament at the No. 4 seed and will play host to No. 5 seed Stetson at Fifth Third Bank Stadium on Friday, Oct. 30.

The Owls will return to the championships from a season ago, where Kennesaw State reached the finals as the No. 6 seed, eventually falling to No. 1 seed FGCU, 3-1.

Friday's match will be broadcasted on ESPN3.

KSU Draws Emory 1-1 on Senior Night
The Kennesaw State women's soccer team finished with a 1-1 draw against Emory on a cold, rainy Tuesday night.

Emory got on the board early in the first with a goal from Melissa Ardizzone to take a 1-0 lead.

The Owls couldn't get on the board in the first half, but had plenty of chances. KSU had 15 shots with five of those being on net forcing Liz Arnold of Emory to make the saves.In the second half, the Owls continued to put pressure on the Eagles, and finally got a shot to go when Monica Herrera hit a beautiful cross that was headed home by Jackie Gray to even the score at one.

Kennesaw State Team Notes
• The postseason appearance will mark the Owls' eighth time over its last nine seasons, with KSU's No. 1 seed in 2007 being the best seed its ever received in the tournament.
• The Owls defeated No. 3 Jacksonville, 5-0, before going on to beating No. 2 Lipscomb, 1-0, in the semifinal matchup in double overtime. KSU eventually fell to No. 1 FGCU, 3-1, in the championship game.
• FGCU will once again host the semifinal and finals in Fort Myers, Florida. It will mark the fifth straight year the Eagles have hosted the finals. 
• The Owls will enter the tournament with a 7-5-2 all-time mark in the postseason tournament.
• Kennesaw State will look to return to the top in the Atlantic Sun after coming up just short in 2014. The Owls have won two championships in 2007 (2-1 over Mercer) and 2009 (2-1 over Belmont).

Cassidy Kemp leads all Owls with 16 points, totaling six goals and four assists. Kemp has started in each of KSU's 18 matches.
Kim Fincher, along with Kemp, lead all active players with six goals. Fincher has totaled 14 points (six goals, two assists), which ranks third on the roster.
