ScheduleSocial Media: Twitter | FacebookTournament PreviewThe Kennesaw State women's tennis team continues it fall season when it competes at the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional at The Dan Magill Tennis Complex Thursday (Oct. 22) in Athens, Ga. The event will feature 80 players and 37 doubles pair from 15 schools from across Georgia and Florida.
The qualifying rounds will start on Thursday (Oct. 22) at 9 a.m. (ET) and the tournament continues through Monday (Oct. 26). The main draw will begin on Friday at 9 a.m. The singles final, consolation final, and doubles final will be held Monday starting at 10 a.m.
The FieldThe field will feature a large pool of talent, with 20 players and seven doubles pair in ITA rankings. Among the teams to compete are Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Florida State, Kennesaw State, Miami, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Georgia, South Florida.
Quoting Foley"This is the main event for us each fall. It exposes us to some of the best individual players as well as teams in the country and we will also come across some familiar faces," assistant head coach
Miranda Foley said. "Every opportunity we get to compete, gives us the chance to put into play what we have been working on in practice, and the girls have been working hard and improving. We must enjoy the process of the developmental stage we are in as a team and I look forward to watching the girls continue to get better as individuals which will ultimately help the team."
The Last Time OutThe Owls last competed at the Steve Baras Fall Classic in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Oct. 3. The weekend was highlighted by redshirt freshman

Gabrielle Robinson recording a first-round singles victory. Robinson and
Isabela Castro teamed to register an opening-round doubles win.
Competing against Mississippi's Brooke Stevens in the No. 4 singles draw, Dean outlasted her opponent, 7-6 (5), 4-6, 1-0 (5). Robinson also recorded a three-set win in No. 6 singles, defeating Delaney Edwards of Chattanooga, 5-7, 7-6 (5), 1-0 (9).
