Damien Wilson's hot streak continued as he once against set a new career high against Stetson scoring 28 points. He has set a career high in six of seven games now and is averaging 25 points in his last three. In conference games, he is second in scoring, averaging 21.0 points per game and fourth in rebounds with 7.3.
THE COMPETITIONFLORIDA GULF COAST Florida Gulf Coast is 13-5 on the season and 3-1 in the A-Sun coming into the Convocation Center. Their one loss is to North Florida, who is currently in first place. The Eagles are led by seniors Brett Comer and Bernard Thompson. Comer currently leads all active players in the country in assists with 739. FGCU is coached by Joe Dooley.

In a must win Atlantic Sun Conference game against Stetson in the Convocation Center, the Kennesaw State men's basketball team scored 54 points in the second half in front of an electric crowd to fend off the Hatters 88-82.

Yonel Brown. It moved the Owls to 1-3 in conference play, and it was the second win in a row over the Hatters.
» Following the Stetson game, the Owls will host the preseason favorite Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday at 2 p.m. It will also be on ESPN3.
» This Saturday is Super Hero Day and the first 300 fans will get free capes.
KSU as a Team » With the 88-82 win against Stetson, Kennesaw State notched its sixth win of the season matching last year's total. With one more win it will be the most wins since the 2010-11 team that had eight.
» KSU is 4-4 on their home court after the win Thursday night against Stetson. That is the most wins that the Owls have had at home since the 2010-11 team had six. The team has six games remaining on its home floor.
» Kennesaw State is averaging 72.8 points at home while shooting over 44 percent from the floor. That is 14 more points and seven percentage points higher than the team averages on the road. KSU Individually » Wilson was named Atlantic Sun Newcomer of the Week after averaging 23.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in the games against Northern Kentucky and Lipscomb. This is the third week in a row that the Owls have claimed an A-Sun award. He backed that up with a 28-point performance against Stetson.
» Brown's consistent scoring has him fourth in the league averaging 15.7 points per game. He has scored 20-plus points in the last three games with 21 points against Lipscomb, 20 points against NKU and 21 against Stetson. He has scored in double figures in 11 games in a row and in 17 of the 20 games for the Owls this season.
» In four of the past five games, Wilson and Brown have accounted for at least 43 points for KSU. They each have had 20-plus points in the past three games.
» When Pruitt gets going he scores in bunches. There have been three games so far this season he has led KSU on runs that went at least 9-0.
