Brian Bohannon participated in the ceremony that included the unveiling a 15-foot gold jersey and three different uniform combinations.

The gold jersey includes gray numbers outlined in black and features the Big South Conference logo on the right chest and the inaugural season logo on the left chest. The Owls' uniform ensemble also includes a black jersey with gray numbers outlined in gold and a white jersey with gold numbers outlined in black. The team also has black, white and gold pants along with a gold helmet with black stripes and a gold "KS" insignia.

The gold and white jerseys have Kennesaw State written across the chest above the numbers in black lettering while the white jersey has Kennesaw State written in black lettering. The pants have a gold "KS" logo sewn on the top of the left leg.

The uniforms were designed in a collaborative effort that included Bohannon, the Department of Athletics branding committee, Michael Creasy, licensing specialist with Kennesaw State University Relations, and adidas, the official athletic apparel provider of KSU.

An official inaugural season logo was unveiled and will appear on team uniforms and officially licensed merchandise through the end of the 2015 season. Fans are able to purchase the historic merchandise in the Kennesaw State University bookstore, online at
www.KSUOwls.com, the Walmart on Chastain Meadows in Kennesaw and College Station at Town Center Mall. It will shortly be available at Cracker Barrell and Hibbetts Sports.

The day also included an official declaration that every Friday will be "Black and Gold Friday". Students, faculty, staff and the surrounding Kennesaw community are encouraged to wear black and gold to display their school spirit.

The Kennesaw State football team is completing its second week of conditioning and, after a week of weight training, will hold its first official padded practice on Sept. 8. The Owls practice/workout sessions will take place Monday through Friday with the final practice scheduled for November 22. The team will hold a scrimmage on Oct. 11 as part of Homecoming and the event will be open to the public.
Season tickets are continuing to be sold at a rapid pace for the 2015 season as the KSU Department of Athletics recently announced that it has received approximately 3,300 requests for tickets out of approximately 3,600 available at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

Fans can begin the process of securing tickets by participating in the Letter of Intent (LOI) program. The LOI Program is a formal request that requires a $20 refundable deposit that enters individuals into the Priority Seating Program which uses points to fairly distribute priority when selecting seat locations among donors. All seats will be $99 for the season plus a donation to The Owls Fund.

The seat location process is scheduled to begin on Feb. 1, 2015 and will include fans visiting Fifth Third Bank Stadium to select their seats based on their priority points standing.

Kennesaw State, which will be an associate member of the Big South Conference, will play six home games during its inaugural season that includes non-conference contests against Edward Waters (Sept. 12), Paine College (Sept. 19) and Point University (Oct. 10). The Owls also will host conference opponents Gardner-Webb (Oct. 17), Monmouth (Oct. 31) and Charleston Southern (Nov. 7).
