On Friday, April 11, they will take on the Howard Bison in Washington D.C. at 6 P.M. Then on Sunday, April 13, KSU will play Elon at 1 P.M.

THE OPPONENT:Sarah Schermerhorn is in her first year as head coach at Howard.
The Bison are 1-9 so far this season after beating Delaware State last week 17-9.
Howard is led by Cynithia Smalls and Jaymie Cox. Smalls leads the team with 23 goals this season and became the program record holder in goals last week. Cox is second on the team in goals and leads the team with six assists.
LAST MEETING:Kennesaw State topped Howard 14-13 in exciting fashion. Senior
Emily Collins totaled eight points in the victory with seven goals and one assist including the game winning goal with 1:05 remaining .
NEXT UPThe Owls will travel to Elon for another A-Sun Conference matchup on Sunday, March 13 at 1 P.M.
Head Coach Kristina Llanes on the weekend:"We are going into the weekend one game at a time. Right now, our focus on the little things is crucial. We played a sound game against Stetson and look to carry that momentum into Friday night's game against Howard. I am confident that our team will continue to come together against conference opponents. Both games are huge opportunities for us to get closer to making the tournament, and that is what we have been working hard for the entire season."
NEWS AND NOTES:» Freshmen
Sydney Farwick and
Olivia Hokanson rewrote the Kennesaw State record book against Stetson. The two players broke records for points, goals, draw controls and ground balls.
» Farwick's career day with 14 draw controls broke the Atlantic Sun record and was one away from tying the NCAA all-time record. It catapulted her to number one in the conference and 28th in the nation averaging 3.89 DC's per game.
» Hokanson had a career day as she scored eight goals. That is tied for first in the NCAA with the most goals scored in one game.
» The team is ranked 10th nationally in winning draw controls and picking up ground balls averaging 14.22 DC's and 19.44 ground balls.
KSU AS A TEAM » Against Stetson, the Owls set a record for goals scored in a game with 21. The previous high was 14 against Howard last year and Presbyterian earlier this year.
» KSU is second in the A-Sun in draw contorls and ground balls and third in scoring offense.
» Last season, the team scored 63 goals in 11 games. After scoring 21 goals against Stetson, the team has combined for 78 so far this season after nine games.
KSU INDIVIDUALLY » After
Olivia Hokanson set a new KSU record with eight goals in a game she has 27 on the year. She is five goals away from setting a new single-season record at KSU, and is the A-Sun leader averaging 3.0 goals per game.

Sydney Farwick set new KSU records in points per game with nine, ground balls with eight and draw controls with 14. She is 13th in the nation in picking up ground balls averaging 3.0 a game.
» Haley O'Donoghue continued her emergence on the offensive end against Stetson. She accounted for six points with four goals and two assists. That gives her nine goals in the last three games.
