JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Kennesaw State lacrosse team lost its opening game of Atlantic Sun play against Jacksonville 24-1.
JU grabbed the lead two and a half minutes into the game and would never look back.
Sydney Farwick notched her eighth goal of the season in the first half to make the score 5-1.
Allison Senft and
Peyton Murdock split time in the cage and combined for 11 saves.
Farwick and
Olivia Hokanson each had three ground balls and three draw controls.
This weekend Kennesaw State will travel to Farmville, Virginia to play Longwood on Friday at 6 P.M. and Saint Francis on Sunday at 1 P.M.
