The GAME
Kennesaw State will start a three game home stand at the friendly confines of Fifth Third Bank Stadium to face the Campbell Camels on Saturday, March 1 at 1 P.M.

THE OPPONENT:
Campbell
In Dawn Easley's first season at Campbell, the Camels have started the season off 0-2.
 
They started the year against Navy and dropped the contest 21-2. In their second game of the season, they played American and lost 11-9.
 
This is their second season as a program and they finished last season at 6-7.  
 
Last Meeting: In the second game of the 2013 season, Campbell beat the Owls 21-4.

The Owls will welcome the Davidson Wildcats, the 2013 regular season Big South Champions, to Kennesaw, Ga.
 
Head Coach Kristina Llanes on playing Campbell:
"We are looking forward to playing another competitive game at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Campbell University is also a new program in the Southeast, and we look forward to gaining more experience and continuing to have success in our game against them."
   
NEWS AND NOTES:
» Kennesaw State head coach Kristina Llanes and Campbell head coach Dawn Easley played with each other at Pfeiffer and helped lead the Falcons to a Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference championship and a No.7 spot in the final NCAA Division II rankings in 2004.
 
» Emily Collins and Taylor Southerland, two of the captains, have started every game Kennesaw State has ever played as a program.
 
» Kennesaw State and Campbell are two of the eight teams that started lacrosse programs in 2013.
 
» The 14 newcomers have played early and often as 13 of them have seen the field at the beginning of the season. 
 
» The Owls are second in the Atlantic Sun in draw controls after averaging 10 DC's per game. 
 
» KSU is third in the A-Sun in points per game with eight. They are also third in goals per game with six.
 
» Freshman Olivia Hokanson has had a great start as an Owl. In her first two games, she has totaled four goals, one assist, four ground balls, and a draw control. Averaging 2.5 points per game so far this season is third in the Atlantic Sun.
 
» Freshman goalie Peyton Murdock has started the first two games for the Owls and is averaging eight saves a game. Murdock is also averaging three ground balls per game, which is fourth in the conference.
 
» Sydney Farwick was nominated for A-Sun Player of the Week after totaling four points with two goals and two assists and winning four draw controls.
 
» Freshmen Haley O'Donoghue and Samantha Farwick scored their first collegiate goals against Coastal Carolina. O'Donoghue netted two goals, and Farwick finished with one goal, a ground ball, and two draw controls.
