THE GAME:
The Kennesaw State men's basketball team remains on the road for one more contest this week, taking on East Tennessee State on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET in Atlantic Sun Conference action.
 
The Owls arrive at 4-19 on the year and 1-9 in the league standings and look to avenge an early season loss to the Bucs, who hold an 11-11 record and a 4-5 mark in the conference.

THE OPPONENT:
ETSU 
The Bucs come into the game as one of the top scoring teams in the A-Sun, putting in nearly 75 points per outing. ETSU also boasts five players averaging double-figure point totals so far this season with Rashawn Rembert's 15.5 among the  tops in the conference standings.

LAST OUTING
Despite holding a two-point halftime lead over USC Upstate on Friday night, the Kennesaw State men's basketball team couldn't hold on for the full 40 minutes, dropping an Atlantic Sun Conference road contest, 65-48.

NEXT UP:
KSU returns home for a pair of games next week, taking on rival Mercer on Friday night on CSS and Northern Kentucky on Thursday on ESPN3.

NEWS AND NOTES:
Kouassi's Big Night
In the outing against Upstate, Willy Kouassi was good for 15 points and a career high 11 rebounds en route to earning the first double-double of his career. With 24 blocks, Kouassi leads the Owls in that category and has six games with multiple blocks.

Love's Milestone
Junior Delbert Love leads the team with nearly 255 total points this season, giving him 992 career points, just eight shy of the 1,000 point mark for his career.

At the Line
Three Owls are now shooting over 80 percent from the free-throw line in Myles Hamilton (.857), Nigel Pruitt (.821) and Tanner Wozniak (.800).
 
Perimeter "D"
KSU is playing stout perimeter defense, holding opponents to just a 33 percent success rate from beyond the arc.
