THE GAME:
The Kennesaw State men's basketball team makes its long-awaited home debut this Wednesday, Nov. 26 as the Bulldogs of Samford arrive at the KSU Convocation Center for a 2 p.m. ET contest.
 
KSU is coming off of an impressive win over Alcorn State and now sits at 1-4 on the young season while the Bulldogs have taken two out of their last three and are holding steady at 2-3.

The Bulldogs are 2-1 in their last three games under first year head coach Scott Padgett, picking up wins over Austin Peay and UMKC. Samford holds one of the youngest rosters in the NCAA with just six upper-classmen.

LAST OUTING:
The Kennesaw State men's basketball team put up a strong showing in the second half, outscoring Mercer 41-32 in the final 20 minutes, but the Bears came out on top, taking the rivalry match-up 74-66 in thrilling fashion on Wednesday night.

NEXT UP:
The Kennesaw State men's basketball team put up an impressive offensive showing on Saturday evening, finding five players in double-figure scoring while earning an 83-80 win over Alcorn State to wrap-up the Owls time in the 2K Classic benefiting the Wounded Warriors Project.

NEWS AND NOTES:
Pruitt's Hot Hand
#Nigel Pruitt# earned 2K Classic All-Tournament Team honors after going off for 20 points against North Dakota State followed by 11 against Alcorn State. Pruitt is leading the squad in points per game with 13.

Coleman's Double-Doubles
Orlando Coleman has earned double-doubles in two out of the last three games, earning 14 points and 12 rebounds at Mercer followed by a career-high 20-point, 12-rebound contest at Alcorn State.

Kouassi on the Block
In the paint, Willy Kouassi has been a force for the Owls, leading the conference with 12 blocks, eight more than anyone else. The center has multiple blocks in each of the last four games and also has won all five opening tips for KSU.
 
Masterson Finding His Way
Freshman Nick Masterson has started to find his groove offensively for the Owls as the shooting guard has put in 16 points in his last two games.
 
Offense vs. Alcorn
The Owls put up a season-best 83 points during their last outing vs. Alcorn State, seeing five players earn double-figure scoring totals.

From the Field
KSU has been heating up from the field, shooting 43-percent against North Dakota State followed by a 45-percent outing against Alcorn State.
