THE GAME:The Kennesaw State men's basketball team is back on the road this weekend, taking on North Dakota State on Friday before playing either Hampton or Alcorn State on Saturday afternoon. Both games will take place in Fargo, N.D.

KSU looks to better its early season record of 0-3 in Scheels Arena while wrapping-up its play in the 2K Classic benefiting the Wounded Warriors Foundation.

NORTH DAKOTA STATEÂ Â Â Â Â The Bison make their home debut in Fargo after a 2013-14 season that saw the squad earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament. North Dakota State is 0-2 after a pair of season-opening losses at Texas and Iowa in the 2K Classic.

LAST OUTING:The Kennesaw State men's basketball team put up a strong showing in the second half, outscoring Mercer 41-32 in the final 20 minutes, but the Bears came out on top, taking the rivalry match-up 74-66 in thrilling fashion on Wednesday night.
NEXT UP:The Owls will make their long-awaited home debut in the KSU Convocation Center on Wednesday, November, 26 at 2 p.m. ET as the Bulldogs of Samford come to town.
NEWS AND NOTES:Brown's Big NightYonel Brown is coming off of a night to remember for KSU, putting in a career-best 22 points at Mercer while teammate Orlando Coleman picked up the team's first double-double of the year with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Owls on the RoadKSU will travel over 10,000 miles in its first five games, taking to three states and three time zones.
Second Half at MercerKSU turned out in full force in the second half at Mercer, sinking seven three-pointers and shooting 49 percent from the field. The Owls also outrebounded the Bears 21-12 in the second period while holding Mercer to just one offensive board.

In the PaintThe Owls have also played tough under the basket so far, averaging 3.5 blocks per game.

Perimeter DMuch like last season, KSU has played tight defense around the perimeter, holding opponents to just 15 three-pointers through the first three outings.
Coleman on the BoardsOrlando Coleman is tops on the team in rebounds with six per game this season. The junior collected the first double-double of the year for KSU at Mercer with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
