After a 10-point win over USC Upstate on Monday night, the Kennesaw State men's basketball team takes the show on the road as the Owls face in-state rival Mercer on Friday night.

The 7 p.m. ET contest will be broadcast live on CSS as KSU (4-13, 1-3 Atlantic Sun Conference) looks to topple A-Sun preseason No. 1 Mercer (12-5, 3-1) in Macon, Ga. at 7 p.m. ET.

A-Sun Preseason No. 1 Mercer awaits the Owls in what will be a Friday night rivalry showdown between the two schools. The Bears are led by senior Langston Hall, who leads the A-Sun in scoring with his 253 points to go with his 91 assists and nearly 100 three-pointers.

LAST OUTING
It was a banner win for the Kennesaw State men's basketball team on Monday night in the Convocation Center as the Owls toppled perennial Atlantic Sun Conference power USC Upstate, 68-58, for KSU's first A-Sun win of the season.

The Owls remain on the road following the game in Macon, Ga., taking to Lipscomb on Jan. 16 and Northern Kentucky on Jan. 18.

Love Getting Close
Junior
Delbert Love, who has 153 career three-pointers, is now just five shy of tying the school career record of 158 set by Spencer Dixon. Love leads KSU in both assists with 46 and in three-pointers with 32. Love is honing in on his 1,000th career point, sitting at 927, and is third all-time in the KSU record book.
Steals
With 115 total steals this season the Owls rank No. 2 in the conference in that category, averaging 6.5 takeaways per game, putting KSU at No. 67 in the nation.

Coleman's Consistent Play
Orlando Coleman has now scored in double-figures in seven straight ballgames after putting in 11 against USC Upstate. Coleman leads the Owls in scoring with his 11.4 points per game. Along with his scoring title, Coleman is also tops in rebounds with his 110, putting him at fifth in the A-Sun with seven rebounds per game on average.

Defending Well
The Owls continue to boast a top five defense in the Atlantic Sun Conference, holding opponents to just 72 points per game.

Offensive Boards
Of KSU's 521 rebounds this season, 197 of those are of the offensive variety, putting the Owls at second in the league in that statistic.

During the last outing against the Spartans, KSU made a season-high 21 free throws, going a stellar 21-of-25 from the charity stripe.

Hamilton's Hot Hand
Myles Hamilton has now dished out 16 assists in the team's last five games. That run includes a career-high of seven that came at Indiana.
