THE GAME:
The Kennesaw State men's basketball team makes its return to the friendly confines of the KSU Convocation Center for the first time since Nov. 20 when the Owls host East Tennessee State this Saturday at noon ET.

The Owls, now 3-12 overall and 0-2 in the Atlantic Sun Conference, look to come out on top during their league home opener against the Buccaneers, who arrive at 7-6 while making their A-Sun season debut.

East Tennessee State opens up Atlantic Sun Conference play this weekend, sitting at 7-6 overall on the year after winning its last three and five out of its last six contests. The Buccaneers are led by Rashawn Rembert, who is tops on the team in points (192), three-pointers (34) and minutes played (449).

The Kennesaw State men's basketball team put up a valiant second-half effort, but the surge came too late as the Owls fell to Jacksonville, 86-66, in Atlantic Sun Conference action on Wednesday night in historic Swisher Gymnasium.

The Owls will have a quick turnaround after facing the Buccaneers, taking on one of the top teams in the A-Sun in USC Upstate on Monday, Jan. 6 at 7 p.m. ET in the Convocation Center.

Stealing the Show
With 99 total steals this season the Owls rank No. 1 in the conference in that category, averaging 6.5 takeaways per game, putting KSU at No. 71 in the nation.
Three-Point Defense
While shooting 32 percent from beyond the arc this season, the Owls are more impressive when defending the three, holding opponents to just a 30 percent success rate.

Of KSU's 491 rebounds this season, 186 of those are of the offensive variety, putting the Owls at second in the league in that statistic.

Kennesaw State has played 15 games in 2013-14 so far, giving the Owls a tie for the conference lead in total games played.

Coleman Regains the Lead
Orlando Coleman took back the team scoring title after putting in 18 points at Indiana. Coleman is now averaging 11.5 points per game, just ahead of Delbert Love's 10.4.

Top Rebounder
Along with his scoring title, Coleman is also tops in rebounds with his 102, putting him at fourth in the A-Sun with seven rebounds per game on average.

Love Beyond the Arc
Delbert Love continues to lead the team with 29 triples. The junior has put in a three in 12 of the Owls' 15 games so far.

Hitting 100
Bernard Morena and
Orlando Coleman each hit the century mark at North Florida, Morena earning his 100th point of the year and Coleman grabbing his 100th rebound.
