KENNESAW, Ga. –The Kennesaw State volleyball team took its third win of the two-day KSU Owls Invitational following a four-set victory over Coastal Carolina Saturday (Sept. 14) afternoon at the KSU Convocation Center.
After losing the first set, 25-16, and falling behind in the second, the Owls (4-5) rallied to take the final three sets by scores of 26-24, 25-14, 25-15.
Kennesaw State was led by freshman
Kelly Marcinek who totaled 10 kills and four digs, while senior
Camille Pedraza tallied a team-high 13 digs. Senior
Sara Metroka showed up with an impressive 32 assists in the win.
The Owls will be back on the floor tonight for their final match of the tournament when they close out play against Samford at 7:30 pm (ET). Live stats will be available at KSUOwls.com.
