THE MATCHES:
The Kennesaw State volleyball team makes its long-awaited home debut this weekend as the Owls host the annual KSU Owls Invitational on Sept. 13-14 in the KSU Convocation Center, playing four matches in two days on their home floor.
It starts off for KSU on Friday at noon ET against Tennessee Tech with the team playing again later that day at 7:30 p.m. ET against Stony Brook. On Saturday, the Owls face Coastal Carolina at noon ET followed by the tournament finale at 7:30 p.m. ET against Samford.
All 10 matches will be free for fans who wish to attend as with all home KSU volleyball matches in 2013.

The Golden Eagles head into KSU with a 3-3 record but are 0-2 away from their home court.

Stony Brook is coming off of a five-match week that saw the Seawolves go just 1-4.

COASTAL CAROLINA
The offense of Coastal Carolina is hitting just .198 while allowing the opposition to a .231 mark so far this season.

SAMFORD
The Bulldogs are the only team in the tournament with a record over .500 at 5-3 including a win over A-Sun team Mercer.

NEXT UP:
The Owls will host six straight at home before hitting the road again on Sept. 27-28, heading to Stetson and Florida Gulf Coast to start off Atlantic Sun Conference play.

Marcinek's Kills
Freshman
Kelly Marcinek continues to lead the Owls in terms of kills with her 73, putting the first-year player at No. 8 in the conference rankings.
Pedraza All-Tournament
Libero
Camille Pedraza was named to the Ole Miss Magnolia Invitational All-Tournament Team after posting over 50 digs during the team's three matches. Pedraza now ranks in the top 10 in the A-Sun with 92 total digs.
Career Days
Keyaira Stevenson set a personal best against Arkansas State with a 22-kill outing.
Toure Hopkins also set a career mark with her first career double-double, earning 15 kills and 10 digs during the match.
Blocks
The Trio of Hopkins,
Cierra Royster and
Megan McGuinness has been a force at the net, putting up 34 combined blocks in six matches.
