KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State softball team is set for its final three-game Atlantic Sun Series at Bailey Park as the Owls welcome Jacksonville on Friday and Saturday, April 20-21. The Owls and the Dolphins will play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 20, followed by a single game on Sunday, April 21. First-pitch is set for 1 p.m. (ET) for both days.

Saturday will be a special day at Bailey Park, as the Owls will be hosting their Sixth Annual Lexi’s Day and it will also be Senior Day for four graduating seniors.
Lexi’s Day is an event in which money is raised for the Lexi Kaiser Foundation, which helps children with exceptional needs. The Foundation is named in honor of Lexi Kaiser, a nine-year old girl who lives with Cerebral Palsy. Prior to the game, fans are invited to take part in a pre-game meal courtesy of the Marietta Fish Market.
Fans can get a ticket to the game and the meal for a $10 donation. Lexi will present a specially-made bike to another child with exceptional needs prior to first-pitch. All ticket profits and donations on Saturday will go to the Lexi Kaiser Foundation.
Regular admission for each day is $6 for adults and $4 for youth, with Kennesaw State students, faculty and staff receiving free admission with a valid KSU ID.
Kennesaw State will honor the careers of seniors
Abbey Mixon,
Jensen Hackett,
Jamie Saunders and
Sharon Swanson in between the first and second games of Saturday’s doubleheader.
KSU (27-17, 11-10) is coming off of a loss to Alabama State, 4-3 on Wednesday, April 17.
Jacksonville (30-15, 11-8) enters the series just above the Owls in the A-Sun standings and is riding a five-game winless streak after being swept in back-to-back A-Sun series by Florida Gulf Coast and Stetson.
The Owls next take a break from conference action with a pair of midweek games, as KSU travels to Georgia Tech on Wednesday at 6 p.m., followed by Kennesaw State’s final home doubleheader of the season against UAB on Thurdsday, April 25. First-pitch for game one is set for 4 p.m.
