THE GAME:
The Kennesaw State men's basketball team returns to the floor on New Year's Day as the Owls take on the Dolphins of Jacksonville University on Jan. 1 in a 7 p.m. ET contest at historic Swisher Gymnasium.

KSU arrives at 3-11 on the year and sits at 0-1 in the young Atlantic Sun Conference season while the Dolphins enter at 4-8 overall and 0-1 in the league after a home loss to Mercer on Monday night.

Jacksonville University looks to bounce back after a home loss to Mercer to open up A-Sun play on Monday night, the first home loss of the season for the Dolphins. JU is led by Jarvis Haywood who is averaging double-figures scoring while shooting at a .500 clip from the field.

The Kennesaw State men's basketball team enjoyed three double-figure scoring performances during its Atlantic Sun Conference opener, but couldn't stop North Florida's strong paint presence as the Owls fell to the Ospreys, 85-60.

The Owls will make their return to the friendly confines of the KSU Convocation Center on Saturday, Jan. 4 as East Tennessee State makes the trip to Kennesaw, Ga. for the noon ET contest.

Coleman Regains the Lead
Orlando Coleman took back the team scoring title after putting in 18 points at Indiana. Coleman is now averaging 11.1 points per game, just ahead of Delbert Love's 10.2.

Along with his scoring title, Coleman is also tops in rebounds with his 99, putting him at first in the A-Sun with seven rebounds per game on average.
