The Kennesaw State men's basketball team opens up Atlantic Sun Conference play this Monday, Dec. 30 as the Owls take on North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla. in a 7 p.m. ET contest.

The Ospreys enter conference play as one of the top three-point shooting teams in the league, putting the ball in the basket at a 34 percent success rate. While UNF enters at 6-7 on the season, the Ospreys are 4-1 on their home floor this season after a 68-64 win over Bethune-Cookman.

LAST OUTING
The Kennesaw State men's basketball team put up a solid showing in front of 17,472 fans in Assembly Hall on Sunday Dec. 22, but ultimately fell to the hometown Hoosiers 90-66 during the final non-conference game of the season for the Owls.

The Owls will remain in Jacksonville, Fla. following the contest at UNF, heading to Jacksonville University on New Year's Day at 7 p.m. ET in historic Swisher Gymnasium.

Stealing the Show
With 87 total steals this season the Owls rank No. 1 in the conference in that category, averaging 6.7 takeaways per game, putting KSU at No. 71 in the nation.
Three-Point Defense
While shooting 33 percent from beyond the arc this season, the Owls are more impressive when defending the three, holding opponents to just a 30 percent success rate.

Offensive Rebounds
Of KSU's 439 rebounds this season, 163 of those are of the offensive variety, putting the Owls at second in the league in that statistic.

Coleman Regains the Lead
Orlando Coleman took back the team scoring title after putting in 18 points at Indiana. Coleman is now averaging 10.9 points per game, just ahead of Delbert Love's 10.6.

Top Rebounder
Along with his scoring title, Coleman is also tops in rebounds with his 91, putting him at first in the A-Sun with seven rebounds per game on average.

Love's Streak
Delbert Love has now scored at least one three-pointer in six straight games as he leads the team with 27 triples. The junior has put in a three in 11 of the Owls' 13 games so far.

Hamilton's Assists
Myles Hamilton was good for a career-high seven assists during the outing at Indiana.
