THE GAME:
The Kennesaw State men's basketball team returns home for two straight, starting off with IPFW this Sunday, Nov. 24, at 2 p.m. ET as the Owls look to make it back-to-back wins after taking down Chattanooga on Tuesday night.
 
The Owls enter the game at 2-4 on the year while the Mastodons arrive to the Convocation Center at 4-2 with IPFW holding the lone win between the two teams in the all-time series record.

Sunday's game will feature the always-popular annual Teddy Bear Toss where fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed teddy bear and toss it onto the court at halftime, where they will be collected and donated to a local children's ministry.
 
Those in attendance will also have a chance to take home a free turkey for Thanksgiving.

THE OPPONENT:
IPFW
The Mastodons enter the KSU Convocation Center on a three-game win streak after putting up 106 points on Purdue-Calumet College earlier in the week. IPFW has struggled a bit on the road coming out of the gate, sitting at 0-2 when the team leaves its home court. Luis Jacobo leads the team in scoring with his 18 points per game and in rebounds with a 7.8 rebounds per game average.
All-Time Record: IPFW, 1-0
Last Meeting: IPFW won, 70-47, on Dec. 21, 2012 in Fort Wayne, Ind.
 
LAST OUTING
On a Willy Kouassi dunk with just 20-ticks left on the clock, the Kennesaw State men's basketball team completed a 73-69 road win over Chattanooga on Tuesday night, Nov. 19, the first road win of the year for the Owls.


NEXT UP:
The Owls will face off against NAIA opponent Truett-McConnell on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. ET before traveling to Cincinnati for a post-Thanksgiving contest.

NEWS AND NOTES:
Defending the Arc
The Owls are leading the A-Sun Conference this season in three-point percentage defense, keeping opponents to an average success rate of just .287.

Shutdown-D
KSU is holding opponents to just 67 points per game, making the Owls the second most efficient defense in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Stealing the Show
During the win over Chattanooga, KSU came away with a season-high 13 total steals, turning 22 UTC turnovers directly into 22 points on the opposite end.

Brown Stepping Up
Sophomore guard Yonel Brown has now put together back-to-back career scoring games after putting in 15 at Mississippi State and 20 at Chattanooga.
 
Series vs. The Mocs
The Owls and the Mocs have played three times in program history, UTC holding a 2-1 record. The three games is the most played against any non-conference opponent this season for KSU.
 
Love Honing in on 1,000
Delbert Love is closing in on a career milestone of 1,000 points scored, sitting currently at 822 during his junior season of action at Kennesaw State.
 
Coleman's Solid Play
Orlando Coleman ranks eight in the A-Sun with his team-leading 40 rebounds and 6.7 and is fifth in field goal percentage at a .531 mark.
