THE GAME:
The Kennesaw State men's basketball team hits the road looking to take down the Mocs of Chattanooga this Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. ET in McKenzie Arena, the second consecutive road game for the Owls in the past five days.

The Owls enter the game at 1-4 and look to slow down the Chattanooga offense that has led the Mocs to a 2-1 record on the year in what will be the fourth ever meeting between the two schools.

Chattanooga makes its third appearance at home in McKenzie Arena against the Owls where the Mocs are 2-0 this season. UTC runs one of the most proficient offenses in the country, earning over 108 points in two of its three games this season. Gee McGhee leads the team in scoring with over 17 points per outing on a team that has five players averaging double-figure point totals.

LAST OUTING
Even with a career-night from sophomore guard
Yonel Brown, the Kennesaw State men's basketball team couldn't pull out the win on the road, falling to SEC opponent Mississippi State 78-55 on Thursday night in front of 6,806 fans in Humphrey Coliseum.
NEXT UP:
KSU will return home for the first time in nearly two weeks on Sunday, Nov. 24 as the Owls host IPFW before welcoming in Truett-McConnell on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Sunday's game against IPFW is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET with the Tuesday contest against Truett-McConnell on slate for 7 p.m. ET.

Defending Well
KSU is holding opponents to just 67 points per game, making the Owls the second most efficient defense in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
Love Starting Strong
Delbert Love continues to lead the offense with a 13.6 points per game mark to go with his 13 assists and team-high 14 three-pointers. Love is moving his way through the KSU record books, jumping up to No. 3 all-time in scoring with 819 points and No. 2 all-time in three-pointers with 135 after putting in 60 points through the team's first five games.
Coleman's Average
Orlando Coleman is averaging nearly a double-double on the year with 10.2 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per outing. Coleman is also tops on the team in blocks with five.
Career Nights
Kris Drees and
Yonel Brown had career games at Mississippi State, Drees dumping in five points with four rebounds and Brown sending in 15 points on five field goals, three of those three-pointers.

The Owls and the Mocs have played three times in program history, UTC holding a 2-1 record. The three games is the most played against any non-conference opponent this season for KSU.
