THE GAME:
The Kennesaw State men's basketball team looks to make it two wins in a row this week as the team heads to Starkville, Miss. for a Thursday night meeting with SEC opponent Mississippi State in the first road game of the season for the Owls.
Opening tip is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET in Humphrey Coliseum as the Owls look to find success on the road during the first ever contest between the two teams.

THE OPPONENT:
MISSISSIPPI STATE
Mississippi State has played just once so far this season, putting in a 71-56 win over Prairie View A&M just over one week ago.
The Bulldogs enjoyed a 15-point, 15-rebound performance from Gavin Ware during his 31 minutes on the court along with a 14-point performance from freshman IJ Ready.

NEXT UP:
The Owls will continue their road trip early next week, taking to Chattanooga, Tenn. to face off against the Mocs in a rematch of one of last season's most competitive games. Game time is set for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, before KSU returns home for games against IPFW and Truett-McConnell College
NEWS AND NOTES:
Taking Down Warren Wilson
The Owls earned their first win of the season in decisive fashion over Warren Wilson College on Monday, taking down WWC by a score of 92-48. The 44-point victory was the largest win in Division I history for KSU who also took a school record 37 three-point attempts during the win.
Endurance Test
Kennesaw State enters Starkville as the only team in the nation to have played four games in the first four days of the season.
Love in the Mix
Delbert Love continues to be the driving force for the Owls, tying a school record with six three-pointers during a game against Florida International.
Moving Through the Record Book
Love is moving his way through the KSU record books, jumping up to No. 3 all-time in scoring with 811 points and No. 2 all-time in three-pointers with 134 after putting in 60 points through the team's first four games.
Coleman in the Paint
Orlando Coleman has made his presence known in the paint thus far, leading the team in rebounds with 28 after a double-double performance against Warren Wilson.
Blocks
With four blocks each,
Orlando Coleman,
Bernard Morena and
Willy Kouassi are now tied for sixth in the conference in that category.
