THE MATCHES:
The Kennesaw State volleyball team is back on the road this weekend, taking on Northern Kentucky and Lipscomb in a pair of Atlantic Sun Conference matches.

The Owls face the North on Friday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. ET before making the trip down to take on the Bison on Saturday at 2 p.m.

THE OPPONENTS:
Northern Kentucky       Â
The Norse enter the contest at just 1-5 in the Atlantic Sun Conference standings this season while holding a 6-12 overall record. Setter Taylor Snyder has been a bright spot for NKU this far, ranking fourth in the A-Sun with a 10.25 assists per set average.
Last Meeting: NKU won, 3-1, on Nov. 3, 2012
Lipscomb           Â
Lipscomb continues to be one of the top performing teams in the A-Sun with a 4-2 record in league play. The Bison offense is on a roll as of late, leading the conference in team hitting percentage with a .261 mark and in assists with 14.42 per set.
Last Meeting: LU won, 3-1, on Nov. 2, 2012

Kelly Marcinek currently leads the team with 195 kills, putting her tops in the Atlantic Sun Conference in kills for a freshman and in eighth overall.

Camille Pedraza now ranks third in the A-Sun standings with 267 total digs, giving the senior a 4.31 digs per set average.

Metroka's Assists
Senior setter
Sara Metroka has surpassed the 500 assists mark on the year, now holding 588 on the year, giving her 3,798 for her record-setting career.
Blocks
The Trio of Â
Toure Hopkins,
Cierra Royster and
Megan McGuinness has been a force at the net, putting up 101 combined blocks in six matches.
