-Aaron Anderson had 17 points to go along with 11 rebounds in the contest for his sixth double-double of the season.

-Each team had two players in double digits, with Markeith Cummings scoring 16 points to along with Anderson's 17, while Delwan Graham (19 points off the bench) and Aloys Cabell (16) paced the Dolphins.
Notable:
-Owls senior guard Brandon Sewell was a teammate of Dolphins junior Russell Powell when the two played at Newnan High School in Newnan, Ga.
-Jacksonville has won the last 10 meetings with the Owls after the Owls won the first three between the two squads.
About the Dolphins:
-The Dolphins enter Monday one game behind Stetson for the eighth and final spot in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament. They have won three of their last four games to stay in the race.
-Three JU players currently average in double figures in scoring, as they are led in that category by sophomore Aloys Cabell, who is averaging 11.9 points per game and recently ended a run of three straight games in which he scored at least 23 points. Sophomore Keith McDougald (11.6 ppg) and junior Glenn Powell (10.9) complement Cabell, while Powell also checks in with a team-high 6.5 rebounds per contest.
A Terrific Trio: Entering Saturday, Markeith Cummings (15.1 ppg), Spencer Dixon (13.4 ppg) and Delbert Love (12.8 ppg) are averaging a combined 41.3 points per contest, second to Stetson’s Adam Pegg, Chris Perez and Aaron Graham for the highest scoring trios in the A-Sun. Cummings (5.3 rpg) also has his hand in another two-man act, as he and Aaron Anderson’s A-Sun-leading 9.1 rpg give them the second-highest rpg among A-Sun teammates, behind Torrey Craig and Ricardo Glenn of USC Upstate. Cummings, Dixon and Love are one of just three teammate trios in the A-Sun to have had three or more 20-point performances this season.
That’s a First: The Owls fell to North Florida on Saturday, 81-77, in double-overtime. The 50-minute long game was the second straight contest for the Owls to go into overtime, as they did so last Tuesday at home against Tennessee-Martin, as well. The back-to-back overtime games marked the first such occurence in the Owls Division I history.
800 Down...: Saturday night marked the Owls 800th overall game as a varsity program, which was founded in 1984. The Black and Gold have a 409-391 all-time record (.511).
Board Milestones Ahead For Aaron, Markeith: Aaron Anderson enters Monday night with 254 rebounds on the season, just four shy of the Division I program record for rebounds in a season, currently held by Shuan Stegall, who had 258 rebounds during the 2006-07 campaign. Markeith Cummings, for his part, enters the contest with 498 career rebounds. Should he reach the 500-rebounds milestone, he will become just the seventh player in program history to have scored over 1,000 points and grab at least 500 boards.
Dawson Keeps Continues To Step Up: Sophomore Brandon Dawson matched his career-high with seven rebounds at Stetson on Jan. 30, and then tied his career-high with 12 points vs. ETSU on Feb. 4. He showed his peak performance as of late wasn’t a fluke, as he dropped 12 points once again vs. USC Upstate on 2/6, and then matched that number again on Saturday at UNF. His performance against the Ospreys also included career highs in blocks (2), minutes played (44) and field goals made (6).
Delbert Can Fill It Up: Owls freshman Delbert Love enters Monday first in the A-Sun among freshman and 10th overall with 12.8 points per game. He has shown an ability to score consistently, as he has been in double figures in each of the last eight games and has scored 20 or more points three times during his inaugural campaign.
Putting in the Minutes: Entering Saturday, Owls Spencer Dixon, Delbert Love and Markeith Cummings rank 1, 2, and 3 in the A-Sun in minutes per game with 37.3, 36.8, and 34.8 minutes per game. Dixon ranks 15th in the nation in the category, while Love ranks third in the land amongst fellow freshmen.
He’s on Pace: Owls senior guard Spencer Dixon enters Monday having played in 121 career games. Were he to play in all of the Owls remaining 3 regular season games, he would eclipse the Owls all-time career games played record, which is currently held by Dixon’s former teammate Kelvin McConnell, who made 123 appearances for the Black and Gold from 2007-11.
