Final Four program feature
HOUSTON- Kennesaw State Owls outgoing senior guard Kelvin McConnell is featured in the program for this weekend’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four, taking place at Reliant Stadium in Houston beginning on Saturday.
The senior captain of the Owls, McConnell will have a full page photo spread in the program’s “Shoot Around” section, recognizing the Smyrna, Ga. native for his accomplishments both as an Owl and as a musician.
McConnell, who finished his Owls career this month as the all-time leader in games played (123) and second in three-point field goals (212), is also extremely accomplished away from basketball. He composed the beat to Soulja Boy’s hit song, Turn My Swag On, which won a BMI Music Award for “Most Played Urban Song of the Year.”
