KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men’s tennis team dropped a tough Atlantic Sun Conference match to Campbell, 7-0, on Friday afternoon at the Fair Oaks Tennis Center.
The loss drops the Owls to 9-9 (3-4 A-Sun) for the season, while the win improves Campbell to 12-2 (4-1 A-Sun) on the year. Kennesaw State is now 0-3 all-time against the Camels.
The Black and Gold lost the doubles point by a 2-1 tally as the No. 3 doubles team of freshman
Ryan Spencer and sophomore
Michael Langel took home the lone win by a score of 8-3.
In singles action, sophomore
Elliot Kahler and Spencer both pushed their singles matches to three sets but neither one could come away with a win at the No. 5 and No. 6 spots, respectively.
Kennesaw State looks to earn an A-Sun weekend split as it hosts USC Upstate tomorrow at the Fair Oaks Tennis Center. The match is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
