KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men’s tennis team concluded its non-conference schedule on Monday afternoon with a solid 6-1 win over Wright State at the Laurel Park Tennis Center.
The win pushes the Owls back above the .500 mark at 9-8 for the season, while the loss drops to 9-5 on the year. The all-time series is now tied up at 1-1 as the Owls fell to the Raiders last season.
“It’s good to get back on the winning side of things,” head coach #T.J. Greggs# said. “This is a team that handed us a tough loss last year, so it’s a positive sign for our program.”
The Black and Gold swept the doubles point, including an 8-2 win by the No. 1 doubles team of junior
Simon Janik and sophomore
Elliot Kahler. Janik and Kahler have won eight of their last ten doubles matches, and they finished non-conference play with a 6-2 doubles record.
