Game Notes

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Kennesaw State play their second Atlantic Sun Conference game of the season on Saturday afternoon, when they take on the Lipscomb Bisons beginning at 1 p.m. EST.

The Owls (2-4) will be trying to snap and two-game slide and bounce back from a difficult, 52-98 loss at Belmont on Thursday night, surrendering the first 11 points of the game to lose their footing early on. While they were a respectable, 20-for-50 from the floor (40.0 percent), with Markeith Cummings leading the way with a 21-point effort, the Black and Gold were stymied by Belmont's spectacular ball control, dishing out 30 assists while turning the ball over just four times.

In Lipscomb (4-4), the Owls are facing a team they have dropped three of their last five contests to and are 5-7 against all-time. The Bisons are coming off of a, 79-72, loss to Mercer on Thursday evening to open up conference play. They were picked to finish sixth in the A-Sun in the preseason polls. The Owls will be trying to snap an 0-5 all-time record against the Bisons at Allen Arena when they take the floor on Saturday.

Saturday afternoon will be a special day at Allen Arena, as Lipscomb's athletic department will be honoring their legendary former coach, Don Meyer. Meyer, who was 665-179 over 24 seasons at the helm of the Bisons, will have the court at All Arena be officially named "Don Meyer Court" in his honor.

Listen Live, Free of Charge, on KSU All Access- Live and on-demand audio of Saturday's tilt between the Owls and Bisons will be available free of charge at www.KSUOwls.com/showcase.
