KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State's volleyball team will try to rebound from a tough loss the night before as it takes on USC Upstate in Atlantic Sun Conference volleyball action at the KSU Convocation Center Saturday.  First serve is set for 3 p.m., with coverage provided by ASun.TV.

The Owls (11-13, 6-3) went to five sets last night with East Tennessee State before falling, 3-2 (21-25, 25-17, 25-21, 19-25, 15-12).  Justine Young led the Owls with 14 kills while Holly Knight scored 15 points on nine kills, seven total blocks and one service ace.  Baylee Strachan had 10 kills and 14.5 points scored, while Alyssa Lang had 12 kills and 15 digs for a double-double.

The Spartans (7-17, 2-7) have dropped four straight matches entering today's contest, with all of their losses coming at home.  Last Tuesday, the Spartans fell in four sets to Presbyterian in Spartanburg, S.C.  The Spartans and the Owls squared off last weekend on the campus of USC Upstate, with KSU pulling away for a, 3-1, victory.

A win today would allow the Owls to clinch a spot in the A-Sun Championships, and would also clinch a winning record in conference play for the 2011 season.
