KENNESAW, Ga. – The 2009-10 Kennesaw State Men’s Basketball 100 Club Appreciation Preview will be on Monday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bailey Performance Center.

The evening, in support of Owls basketball, will feature Kennesaw State head coach Tony Ingle and his staff, the 2009-10 team, the presentation of the annual recognition awards and a performance by world-renowned impersonator Jason Hewlett.

“We are particularly excited about this year’s event,” said head coach Tony Ingle. “We are going to have Jason [Hewlett] perform, which is a tremendous thrill, and in addition, this year we are going to have our event at the beautiful Bailey Performance Center.”

The event will be held at the two-year old Bailey Performance Center for the first time after previously being hosted at the KSU Convocation Center and the KSU Center. The state-of-the art center was opened in 2007 and is the home to all music and entertainment performances on campus.

The annual preseason event, highlighting the upcoming basketball season and introducing the audience to this year’s squad, will also feature world-renowned entertainer, Hewlett, one of the most recognized impersonators and motivational entertainers in the country.

“To see Jason perform is quite a thrill,” added Coach Ingle. “It’s like Las Vegas is coming to Kennesaw State. He is such a talented young man and we are fortunate to have him perform on campus.”

This year’s event will be hosted by the “Voice of the Owls,” Craig Corbin, and will also feature the presentation of the year’s Appreciation Awards, which are given to honor staff, faculty, administrators and friends of the men’s basketball program.

Tickets for the event are limited and are available at the KSU Convocation Center. For further information please call 678-797-2697.
