Tait Carlisle

Tait Carlisle is in his first year as head football athletic trainer at Kennesaw State.

Carlisle joins KSU after more than four years at Georgia State where he served as an assistant athletic trainer for football and men’s golf. He provided daily medical coverage, coordinated rehabilitation programs, managed medical logistics and assisted with student-athlete care alongside physicians and other sports medicine staff.

Prior to Georgia State, Carlisle was an athletic trainer at the University of West Florida working with baseball and women’s soccer. He also spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Southern Miss supporting football and several Olympic sports programs.

Carlisle earned a master’s degree in sport management from the University of Southern Mississippi and a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Alabama.

He is certified by the Board of Certification and licensed by the Georgia Board of Athletic Trainers. He holds certifications in dry needling, HawkGrips, sound assisted soft tissue mobilization, the Barbell Rehab Method and the NASM Performance Enhancement Specialization.
