Kennesaw State University Athletics

Ryan Hutchison joined Kennesaw State University in the fall of 2025 as an athletic academic advisor for lacrosse, softball and men's/women's tennis.

He previously served as an athletic academic counselor at Auburn University, working with volleyball, swimming & diving, and equestrian programs. His responsibilities at Auburn included academic oversight of these programs, as well as assisting with the First-Year Experience program within athletics. Prior to Auburn, Ryan was an Athletic Academic Fellow at Florida State University, supporting the swimming and diving, and men’s and women’s tennis programs.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sports and Recreation Management with a concentration in Management from the University of North Alabama in 2022. He then graduated with a master’s degree in Sport Management from Florida State University in 2023.

Ryan is a native of Madison, Alabama. In his free time, Ryan enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, going to sporting events, and spending time with his family. He is married to Nicole Hutchison and they share a Golden Retriever named Nole.
