Matt Sanders is in his first year as an academic advisor in the department of athletics in 2022. Sanders works with the KSU men’s tennis, women’s tennis, women’s golf, lacrosse and soccer teams.
Sanders came from the Wellstar College of Health and Human Services where he served as an academic advisor. While at the Wellstar College of Health and Human Services, he helped create and develop academic plans for students covering six degree programs. He also conducted orientation and open house sessions.
Sanders worked for the Cobb County School District from July 2016 to May of 2019. He taught U.S. History at North Cobb High School.
He served as a Physical Education and Bible Curriculum teacher at Excel Christian Academy from May 2015 until July of 2016.
Sanders received his degree in history from Kennesaw State in May of 2014. He was student manager for the KSU men’s basketball team from 2011-13.
