Lindsay Hunt

Lindsay Hunt joined the Kennesaw State Sports Medicine staff in 2025. She works with the KSU women's lacrosse team. 

Prior to Kennesaw State, Hunt served as an athletic trainer with Atlanta Rehabilitation and Performance Center, providing daily medical coverage for West Forsyth High School and Forsyth Central High School in Cumming, Ga. She also worked alongside physical therapists, strength and conditioning specialists and orthopedic physicians to provide patient care, injury evaluation, rehabilitation and return-to-play services.

Hunt previously spent multiple stints as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of North Georgia, where she was the primary athletic trainer for the baseball program while also working with men's and women's soccer, softball, cross country and track and field. She accompanied the Nighthawks softball team to the 2021 NCAA Division II World Series and helped implement the department's COVID-19 sports medicine action plan.

Earlier in her career, Hunt served as an athletic trainer at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif., providing medical coverage for all varsity sports and major events, including the Mt. SAC Relays, Foot Locker Cross Country Regionals and other nationally recognized competitions.

Hunt has also gained experience through internships with LA Galaxy II, Auburn University and the University of North Florida, while providing event coverage for organizations including Perfect Game Baseball, USA Volleyball, USA Soccer and USA Track & Field.

A native of Oregon, Hunt earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Azusa Pacific University in 2017 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon in 2015, where she competed as a student-athlete in acrobatics and tumbling. She is a Board of Certification-certified athletic trainer, holds a Georgia athletic training license and maintains certifications as a National Academy of Sports Medicine Corrective Exercise Specialist and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.
