Jackson Abernathy enters his first year with the Kennesaw State baseball staff, serving as the Director of Analytics.
A native of Sugar Hill, Ga., Abernathy played for the Owls during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Abernathy appeared in 20 games, threw 23 innings, and compiled a career ERA of 5.48.
Currently, Jackson plays a pivotal role in driving the program’s use of data and technology to elevate player development and sharpen game strategy. Working closely with the coaching staff, he delivers advanced metrics, detailed video breakdowns, and actionable performance insights that give the Owls a competitive edge.
Jackson is currently pursuing his degree in Business Administration and is set to graduate in December of 2026.
