Cara Gaskins currently serves in the Business Services office at Kennesaw State in the Department of Athletics.
Gaskins moved into her current role as Associate Director of Athletic Accounting in April of 2023. Since 2019, she served as a senior accountant where her primary responsibilities were to provide accounting support and assistance to the CFO of the Athletics Department, the Athletics Director, the athletics executive staff, all coaches and student athletes. Her day-to-day responsibilities include handling all AR and account reconciliation for monthly financials, processing all sales and money received for all NCAA competitions and recognize all revenue received each month, process and pay sales tax for all revenue received each month while following all University System of Georgia Board of Regents and University policies.
Gaskins also assists the CFO with budgeting and financials processing for Executive board.
Prior to coming to Kennesaw State, Gaskins served as an accounting manager at Resolute CPA and Advisory Services.
Gaskins graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1995 with Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematical Education. She is currently working on a Master of Accounting at Georgia Southern University.
Gaskins resides in Acworth, Ga. with her husband Craig, and sons Riley, Conner and Owen.
