Cara Gaskins currently serves in the Business Services office at Kennesaw State in the Department of Athletics.
Gaskins moved into her current role as Associate Director of Athletic Accounting in April 2023. She joined Kennesaw State in September 2019 as the Senior Accountant in Athletics. Gaskins manages the daily accounting and financial activities of the Athletics Business Office Department.
Gaskins also assists the CFO with budgeting and financials processing for the Executive Board.
Prior to coming to Kennesaw State, Gaskins served as the Accounting Manager at Resolute CPA and Advisory Services in Marietta, Ga.
Gaskins graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematical Education, followed by a Master of Accounting from Georgia Southern in 2024 and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2025. While at Georgia Southern, she competed as a student-athlete on the softball team from 1991-1995.
Gaskins resides in Ellijay, Ga. with her husband, Craig, and their three sons, Riley, Conner and Owen.
