Hit .293 in conference play with 24 hits and scored 10 runs through 20 games … fourth on the team in doubles with 8 … named ASUN Player of the Week one time.

2017
  • Competed in 56 games in his sophomore season, making 54 starts at shortstop for the Owls.
  • Recorded a career high in runs scored (27), hits (47), triples (1) and home runs (1).
  • The sophomore recorded 12 games with two or more hits and six games with two or more runs batted in.
  • Tallied a .253 (47-for-186) batting average, five doubles and 22 RBI.
  • Made 21 starts at shortstop in ASUN play, batting .247 (18-for-73) with one triple, one home runs and 10 runs batted in.

  • Totaled his first collegiate hit versus VCU (Feb. 19).

  • Chabut arrives from Loganville High School where he played for Jeff Segar.
  • Ranked as the 308th best player in the country, 33rd best player in Georgia and was eighth best shortstop in the state according to Perfect Game.
  • A 2013 Perfect Game Underclass All-American Honorable Mention.
  • Named a 2014 Under Armor Pre-Season All-American.
  • Helped lead Loganville to Georgia Class 4-AAAA state championship in 2012.
  • 2013 and 2014 Region 8AAAAA First Team All-Region shortstop and Georgia Dugout Club Top 100 Rising Juniors.

  • Selected as one of 108 players in the nation to participate in Team USA's 2014 Tournament of Stars event, which is the primary pool of talent in which USA Baseball selects its18U National Team.
