Biography
2009-2010 Season
Competed in five meets during the indoor season... Finished fourth in her first meet as an Owl in pole vault at the Appalachian Indoor Track Invitational... Earned an All-Conference award for her third place pole vault finish at the Atlantic Sun Indoor Conference Championships with a 3.25 meter leap... Started the outdoor season with a second place victory at the Beynon Sports Catamount Classic, clearing 3.35 meters... Finished fourth at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships with a 3.35 meter top height.
Prep Career
Placed fourth at the GHSA State competition in the pole vault in 2008 in class 5A and fifth at state in the pole vault in 2009 also in class 5A .... Lettered all four years in track and field and in competitive cheer.
Personal
Grew up in Cumming, Ga... Daughter of Ted and Cindy Smith...Has one brother, Brian (21). Majoring in Biology and plans on becoming an optometrist after graduation.
