Biography
2011-12
Competed in nine total events in the 2012 season…Had 4 total top-5 finishes including a top-5 finish at the Atlantic Sun Outdoor Championships…Also had two fourth place finishes at the Auburn Tiger Track Classic and Birmingham Invitational.
2010-11
Roop competed in the high jump for the Owls last season with her best finish coming at the Georgia Intercollegiate Invitational when she finished fourth… Roop also traveled and competed at the Auburn Tiger Classic, Atlantic Sun Conference Championship and Clemson Tiger Qualifier.
Prep Career
Competed for West Forsyth High School in high jump all four years of high school… Finished first four times during her senior season including the Girls 7-AAA meet to qualify for state competition…. Placed fourth in the high jump at GHSA Girls State Championships, jumping 5’ 2”.
Personal
Born in Chattanooga, Tenn. to Dean and Cherie Ropp… Has two brothers, William and Samuel and two dogs, Scotty and Alex… Favorite food is either Wendy’s or a steak… Loves to watch the Falcons… Most embarrassing moment was when she ran the 100 and tripped during the race.
