2009-2010 Season
Competed in two meets during the indoor season... Finished first in the 3,000 meters in 10:03.98 at the Gene Anderson UNC Invitational... Earned two All-Conference awards for a second place finish in the 3,000 and third in the 5,000 at the A-Sun Indoor Championships... Finished second in the 1,500 meters at the JSU Gem of the Hills Invitational... Placed first in the 10,000 meters at the Sea Ray Relays with a time of 36:03.05... Earned two more All-Conference awards in the 5,000 and 10,000 at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships while setting the school record in the 5,000 at 16:49.42... Qualified for the NCAA East Preliminaries where she finished 20th in the 10,000 meter race with a time of 36:04.17.

2008-2009 Season
Took home three Atlantic Sun Conference titles, winning the 10,000 Meters (36:44.06) and 5000 Meters (17:37.61) at the Outoor Championship and the 3000 Meters (10:10.47) at the Indoor Championships...Also eanred All A-Sun honors with a second place finish in the 5000 Meters (17:39.71)...Won a total of six races in 2009 between indoor and outdoor season...Won her opening meet of the season at the Clemson Indoor opener, taking the 5000 Meters with a time of 17:42.83.

2007-2008 Season
Placed first in the indoor 5k at UNC while posting her personal best time (17:53.35)... named Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week by the Atlantic Sun Conference for her performance at UNC... Ran a personal best 10:13.73 in the seeded indoor 3k at the Tiger Invitational to place 10th... Took third place in the 3k at the A-Sun Indoor Conference Championships with a time of 10:16.92... placed third in the 5k at the indoor Conference Championships with a time of 17:52.40... placed first in the outdoor 5k at the Clemson Relays with a time of 18:34.89... took first in the outdoor 3k Steeplechase at the Florida Relays with a time of 11:18.36.

Prep Career
A distance specialist, Howe came to Kennesaw State after finishing her prep career at Oconee High School where she competed in both cross country and track...one of the top runners in her region for cross country and track in 2006...finished second in the Georgia State Cross Country Championships for the 5k as a senior...is the record holder for Oconee HS in the one mile and two mile races, breaking both on the same day of competition.

Personal
Was born Sara Mackenzie Howe in Alpharetta, Ga. ...she is the daughter of Patti Giulbeau and Jeff Howe...has one brother, Adam (24)...Enjoys tennis, being outdoors, basketball and sleeping in her spare time...Is majoring in Health and Exercise Science.
