Prep Career
Competed for North Cobb High School in track and field… Set a personal and state record (11’7”) in pole vault during the 2009 GHSA Girls State Meet, winning the state title… Finished first four different times during her senior season all in the pole vault… Vaulted a height of 10’ 6” at the Georgia games, good enough for a first place finish… named team MVP and team captain during her high school career.
Personal
Born Lauren Frances Hutchinson to Carl and Cynde Hutchinson in Salt Lake City, Utah… Has one older sister, Brittany (22)… Loves to eat anything Mexican or Chick-Fil-A… Outside of track, she loves gymnastics, soccer, writing, scrapbooking and hiking… Thing she loves most about pole vault is being able to focus, perfect her technique and the opportunity to always have a higher bar to clear.
