2009 Season
Recorded a ninth place finish in the 800 Meters at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships, posting a time of 2:22.52...Competed in the One Mile Run at the A-Sun Indoor Championships, finishing 14th with a time of 5:26.14...Highest finish of 2009 was a third place performance at the LSU Alumni Gold, where she placed third in the 1500 Meters with a 5:10.48 time...Finished fifth in the 800 Meters in the UNF Invitational, the opening outdoor meet of the season, with a time a 2:22.67.
2008 Season
Won her heat in the indoor mile at the Tom Jones Memorial Classic with a time of 5:23.36... posted a personal best time of 5:18.70 in the indoor one mile at the Tiger Invitational to earn 14th place
Prep Career
Kristen comes to Kennesaw State after a successful cross country and track career at South Forsyth High School...she is the former Forsyth County Cross Country Champion...was also the 2003 Texas State Champion in the 1600m before moving to Georgia...her personal best for the mile is 5:08.

Was born Kristen Elizabeth Gibson in Jackson, Miss. ...is the daughter of Jim and Dana Gibson....has two sisters; Kat (17) and Kimberly (11)...Enjoys soccer, water sports, movies and church in her spare time...Majoring in Health Education and plans to be a health teacher following graduation.
