Competed all four years at Athen Christian School… Jenkins comes to Kennesaw State as a highly touted prep athlete who specializes in distance with personal best in the 1500 meter (4:39.67), 1600m (5:05.55), 5000m (18:18.11) and one mile run (5:41.34).

Born Destiny Jenkins to Robert and Donna Jenkins in Greensboro, N.C… Has seven younger siblings Josh, Josiah, Dynasty, Joseph, Naomi, Jonathan and Niquee… Older brother Josh is a member of the Kennesaw State men's cross country team… Majoring in Physical Therapy.
