Robbie Robertson will join the Owls staff as an assistant coach and will concentrate his time on working with the pole-vaulters. Robertson will bring 42 years of high school experience to the team, coaching track, football and basketball at his most recent stop of Kennesaw Mountain high school.
Robertson served as an associate coach for the 1996 Olympic games for pole vault for team USA. He has worked with 18 individual state champion pole-vaulters and has helped groom prep athletes into college stars who have competed in both ACC and SEC competition.
He was recognized as the Football Coach of the Year at Walton high school, and the Coach of the Year in track and field at Wheeler high school. Robertson graduated from the University of Georgia. He has two children and two granddaughters.
