Josh Campbell enters his sixth year as Assistant Track & Field Coach/Hurdles coach at Kennesaw State University. He primarily coaches the hurdles and high jumps.
In his time coaching the hurdlers, there have been seven ASUN Champions, 20 All-Conference performers, 3 school record holders and seven national qualifiers.
In 2017, Jocselyn Powell reached the semifinals of the NCAA Championships in the 400m hurdles earning Honorable Mention All-American Honors.  

In 2015, the men took the top four spots in the 110m-hurdles at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships. 
 
In 2014, the men took the top four spots in the 110m-hurdles at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships. On the women’s side, LaTia Daniels broke the oldest school record that dated back to 1986 in the 400m-hurdles.
 
Campbell has helped spearhead one of the most successful runs on the track at KSU. In his first five years as an assistant coach, he helped guide the men’s and women’s teams to 14 ASUN Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
He has USTFCCCA Sprints/Hurdles Specialist Certification, USTFCCCA Jumps Specialist Certification and USTFCCCA Strength & Conditioning Certification.
Prior to KSU, Campbell served as a Student Assistant Track & Field Coach at Chicago State University. Campbell’s responsibilities with the Cougars included leading and monitoring workouts including technical training along with coordinating the weight-training sessions.
 
No stranger to the NCAA Division I competition level, Campbell competed collegiately at Chicago State where he is a four-time letter winner and two-time team captain along with being a school record holder in the 4x100m relay.
 
A native of Cartersville, Ga., Campbell graduated from CSU with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education.
