Olga Elkin

Olga Elkin enters her second season on the Kennesaw State coaching staff. She came to Kennesaw after playing collegiate tennis on the Division I level at Wichita State and West Virginia University.

As a player Elkin had many accomplishments on the high school and college levels.

As a freshman in high school she won the Nebraska Class A State Singles Title. She was also a former No. 1-ranked junior in the USTA Missouri Valley Section 18 age group. Lastly, in her sophomore through senior years in high school she got a chance to train at the prestigious Mike Wolf Tennis Academy.

She started her collegiate tennis career getting a full scholarship to Wichita State. As a freshman she won a Missouri Valley Conference Singles Championship in the fall of 2006, and she started on the 2007 Wichita State team that finished 31st in the nation. She then transferred to West Virginia after her sophomore season.  As a junior she was one of three Mountaineers to earn an overall 20-plus winning season with 24 total wins, and she was a Big East Academic All-Star.

She was also a teaching pro for three years at the Nebraska Tennis Academy from 2007-09.

Elkin currently resides in Kennesaw, Ga., and is pursuing a masters degree in Sports Administration for Georgia State University.
