Lazenby joined the Owls for her junior campaign after two years at Daytona State College, making an immediate impact on the team’s success after putting together a pair of top 20’s including a tie for eighth in the Owls first-ever Atlantic Sun Conference Championship … Finished in the top half of the field in six events, tying for 19th at the 31st annual Pat Bradley Invitational after making the clubhouse at 231 … Led the Owls in two of their first three events of the season, including finishing in the top third of the field at both the Wolverine Invitational and the Badger Invitational … Improved in all three rounds of the A-Sun Championship, going 76-75-74 for her nine-over 225 … Led or tied for the low score in ten of the season’s 29 rounds.

Lazenby comes to Kennesaw after a prodigious two-year career at two-time National Junior College Athletic Association National Champion, Daytona State College where she was a 2007 Second Team NJCAA All-American selection ... Finished in the top 20 five times last season at DSC, highlighted by a tie for tenth at the NJCAA National Championship ... Shot a season-low 74 in the final round of the 2008 NJCAA Region VIII Qualifier to finish fourth ... Was named DSC's Most Improved Player after the 2007-08 season ... Earned her All-American selection in 2007 after finishing eighth at the NJCAA National Championship where she closed with a collegiate-low 72 ...
